Kajal Bhakta
Hi y'all! My name is Kajal Bhakta and I am a 5th-year Chemical Engineering Major from San Antonio, TX. I am the Project Manager for Team India 2022 and I’m super excited to be a part of the 2022 PUC Cohort! I joined PUC to learn how to make a community-driven impact and hope to continue on with this type of work after I graduate. I am looking forward to seeing how our project unfolds for this upcoming year. :D

Madhu Sugumar
My name is Madhu Sugumar and I am a 4th year Biomedical Engineer and I am the Assistant Project Manager for Team India 2022. I joined PUC because I really wanted to work on a project with lasting impact as I am very passionate about education and humanitarian engineering! I am really excited to be working with UT’s Projects with Underserved Communities Program and I can’t wait for what this year will bring for our team!

I am a 4th-year civil engineering student who loves to travel, bother my Siamese cat, and help you with your home improvement needs at the local Ace Hardware. I have done environmental and humanitarian projects in Mexico and Peru, and am super excited to travel to a new part of the world and help empower a local community!

I am a 2nd-year environmental engineer. In addition to PUC I am also the fundraising manager for the American Academy of Environmental Engineering and Science. I joined PUC because I wanted to use the skills I have developed as an engineer in an impactful way that would strengthen a local community.

Hello! My name is Katelyn, and I'm a junior in architectural engineering and also pursuing a certificate in humanitarian engineering. I am originally from the DFW area and moved to Austin before high school. Outside of engineering, I love playing intramural sports with my friends. I'm looking forward to all that our team will accomplish alongside the Kalathupatty community!

Hello, my name is David! I'm a 3rd-year electrical and computer engineering student, and I was born and raised in Houston, Texas. Outside of engineering, I love to swim, cook, play basketball with my friends, and learn how to play the guitar. I look forward to using my engineering skills to develop and implement a project that will directly improve the lives of others!
